Mount the Sensor
A magnet in the gypsy and a sensor on the deckplate — many windlasses come pre-drilled for exactly this. Cut a 75 mm hole at the helm for the display, or use the desktop bracket.

Tune in Minutes
Set your chain-per-revolution, run the one-shot sensor calibration, set your limits. Standard solenoid wiring — up, down, done.

Anchor on Numbers
Manual with live count, auto to a preset, or depth × scope straight off the sounder. The winch stops where you told it to. Every time.

Before you ask
Will it fit my windlass?
Almost certainly. The i@nchor counts via a magnet in the chainwheel and a sensor beneath it — the same proven approach used across the industry, and many windlasses ship pre-drilled for it. Send us your windlass model and we’ll confirm fit before you pay a cent.
Display Head or BlackBox — which do I need?
If you want a dedicated screen at the helm, go Display Head. If you run a Raymarine Axiom or Garmin OneHelm and want to skip a new hole in the dash, go BlackBox. Running two anchors? BlackBox Dual synchronises both from one panel.
Does it handle rope-and-chain rodes?
Yes — chain, rope, or chain-plus-rope, selectable in the menu, with readouts in metres, feet or fathoms.
Do I need to buy the sensor separately?
No — every Display Head and BlackBox setup already includes a chain sensor kit. The standalone sensor in the Parts section above is for replacements or a second install only.
Can I stop it instantly?
One touch of MODE halts the winch mid-run. The screen also locks itself after 30 seconds idle so a knee or an elbow can’t send your anchor down at the dock.
